Recently, Ubisoft announced that it had canceled a total of 3 new games, and along with this decision, it also delayed the long-awaited Skull and Bones. The game, which was previously said to be released on March 9, 2023, has been delayed to the end of 2023 without giving a specific date. Now, Ubisoft has released a new gameplay video of Skull and Bones.

## The new gameplay video of Skull and Bones has been released!

Skull and Bones, which has been delayed for the sixth time in total, was first introduced at the E3 exhibition in 2017. The narrative director Joel Jannise, who says that the delay will be beneficial for the game, accompanies us throughout the 33-minute video. In the video, we see a brother and sister who are both pursuing a treasure and believe that they are the real heirs of a small kingdom.

"The player is following the treasure, which could be interesting and potentially turn into a treasure or score. But at the same time, we are telling a story about our groups and our world, and we can do this by talking to different people in the world, for example through messages in empty bottles, pages of lost diaries or sometimes."

The action seen in the video starts with looting a local settlement and this is the part that many players are disturbed by. After approaching the settlement to loot, when you press the looting button, you start fighting with other ships in a limited area. There is also a timer that shows your progress.

Another part that players criticize in the Skull and Bones game is sailing. The ship mechanics, which is one of the game's basic elements, does not feel realistic enough. According to players, ships appear light and massless on the sea and do not respond to the water.
